For people from all age groups, incense still plays a big part in their lives. People get pleasure from the assortment of fragrances that are produced with incense. People also get pleasure from the fact that the scent of incense can remain in the atmosphere for hours on end. Loads of people merely purchase incense to assist as an air freshener and don't even burn the incense sticks. The fragrance is more often than not so pungent in a variety of incense that it can linger throughout the house and create the same outcome as if the sticks were being burned without the need of having to light it. In this publication, we will examine how you can start your own home-based business by creating incense sticks and start earning some extra cash.

Prior to starting your incense for cash business, it's important that you research and focus on a niche market that you want to operate in. It may surprise you to know, but there are many different niche markets that relate to incense. People in religious communities, for example Catholics, employ the use of incense in their prayers. Others who are into Wicca and New Age regularly use incense to complement their enchantments and ceremonies. A lot of other people use incense merely for the ambiance that it creates in the home. You could opt to concentrate on just one specific market, numerous markets, or the complete spectrum of available markets. It's totally up to you, but you may find it easier to start on one tightly focused niche first, and then when you have conquered that niche, move on to the next.

To assist you in getting started with your incense for cash business, there are a few materials that you will need to have at your disposal: 1) Di-Propylene Glycol (DPG) Solvent 2) An assortment of fragrant Oils, such as "Sandalwood" and "Dragon's Blood" 3) Fragrance-free incense sticks 4) Fragrance-free incense cones 5) A variety of color Dyes - should the oils not be colored 6) Re-sealable bags such as Ziplock that are of suitable size for the incense sticks and cones 7) A Drop-Dispenser Bottle

As soon as you have assembled all of the supplies needed to create your incense, you can begin right away. You basically get one dropper of the scented oil of your choosing and put it on the incense. Then, add 2 droppers of the Di-Propylene Glycol Solvent and spread over the incense. You can also combine one part of the scented oil you wish to use to 2 parts of the Di-Propylene Glycol Solvent and leave to soak. When the incense is completely soaked with the blend of the scented oil and DPG Solvent, you will need to allow approx. 2 days for the incense to dry. It's probably best if you can let the incense to air dry for at least 5 days.

When the incense is completely dry, you basically put the amount of incense you want to sell in each ziplock bag. For example, you could add 10 incense pieces in one bag for a $1 each. Then just label each bag with labels you've printed you're your computer. Say you packed 10 incense sticks in the fragrance of Dragon's Blood, your label might read "10 Dragon's Blood Incense Sticks only $1 - Hand Dipped".
