Almost everyone would like to change something about themselves given the choice but when it comes to a women?s appearance it is their breast that they want to change first. Many suspect that silicone can lead to higher occurrences of connective tissue disease, immunological disorders, neurological disorders, cancer, and capsular contracture if the implant were to rupture and the silicone material were to circulate with the person’s bloodstream. The design and manufacture of breast implants has to undergo strict checks but ruptures have happed and the chance of the contents entering the circulatory system should be considered. The difference with a saline breast implant rupture is that the contents are perfectly safe and will be absorbed by the body without any harm coming to it.

It is always a good idea to be aware of the risks associated with any type of surgery even breast surgery but having said that, it is considered quite a routine surgical procedure and risks are minimal.
