Treatment Of Cellulitis
Generally seen in the lower half of the body, i.e. legs and buttocks, cellulite is the condition where the skin appears to have that orange peel affect in certain areas. Most women carry excess fats in thighs and buttocks, but cellulite is not confined to the overweight as it is in actuality, the lumpy substance that looks more like cottage cheese that forms beneath the skin.
Just below the surface of the skin in the thighs and buttocks region, areas of fat collect and force themselves against the tissue creating a puckered look to the surface of the skin. It may still be some time before medical science arrives at a definitive reason for why some people are more prone to cellulites than others but it may have something to do with how toxins are held in the cells of some people.
Cellulite is comes naturally with aging and similar to wrinkles that form in the face, it is actually the result of lower levels of collagen and elastin in the skin. Whilst many would disagree, cellulites are often referred to a hormone imbalance problem as men almost never suffer with this condition.
Treatment Of Cellulitis...
Often the cellulite goes unnoticed and it is only when a person’s muscles are compressed or the skin is pinched that it can be seen and felt but women should not feel badly about having cellulite as most women suffer with it to a greater or lesser degree. Just how much cellulite a person has will depend on a number of factors like, age, gender, genetics and even the thickness and type of skin they have will affect how easily it can be seen.
As medical science cannot prove conclusively what causes cellulite, it makes it difficult creating a cure for it even though a number have been tried including cellulite burning creams. Where cellulites removal massage is offered at a clinic, all that is done is deep tissue massage which just masks the affect so it cannot be seen as readily.
Liposuction is sometimes used to remove fats generally from the body and can be attempted for cellulite as well but the use of drugs injected into the cellulite to remove it is costly and out of reach for most women. The problem is liposuction is not designed for removing this type of fat but for deeper fat and not that stuck in connective tissue so cannot claim to be a best treatment fro the condition.
Whilst the creams that claim to burn the cellulite away may not be very successful, the latest generation is designed to hide the cellulites although once again this is a temporary measure. Many people believe that the only realistic way to reduce the amount of cellulite a person has is to follow a controlled diet plan and exercise regularly which will gradually burn off much of the body fat including that found in the tissues of the thighs and buttocks.
Many of the toxins that aid cellulite formation in the cells can be removed by drinking plenty of water every day not to mention the other health benefits of drinking water which include weight reduction.
