Male Cellulite

Often referred to as skin with an ‘orange peel’ effect, losing this cellulite is not that easy as the fat cells under the skin are inside the tissue and are difficult to eradicate. Losing cellulite has become a serious problem for many women around the world as most of them develop it to lesser or greater degrees as they get older. Cellulite treatments are plentiful but losing cellulite is not easy and once you have removed it, certain aspects of your lifestyle must change to ensure it doesn’t return.

Although men can suffer with cellulite, it is mainly found on women, usually at the back of their thighs, tummy and buttocks because of differences in the way the muscle and tissues are distributed. Men generally tend to have lower amounts of body fat, whilst women have higher amounts. The female hormone, estrogen, plays an important role in the formation, and one of the causes of cellulite because it stimulates the storage of fat, which is needed for menstruation, pregnancy, and lactation.

Another contributing cause of cellulite is being overweight but cellulite is not formed as a direct result of this, however, it can exacerbate the situation. During pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through a number of changes during which time there is an increase in fat deposits, overall weight gain and the retention of water.

Male Cellulite...

Losing cellulite using a low calorie, high fiber diet, is now thought by many specialists to be about the best way to lose cellulite as long as it is combined with plenty of exercise. Tanning sometimes helps because is even believed that cellulite is not noticeable on darker skins. Unfortunately, doing various cellulite treatment exercises may still not be enough in the pursuit of losing cellulite or cure a person’s hormonal imbalance which is still commonly thought of as the main reason why women get cellulite. However, there are other cellulite treatments you can use such as massaging the affected areas, water therapy to flush the system, creams that burn the cellulite and of course giving up the cigarettes.

Some women go one stage further and have liposuction cellulite treatment which removes the cellulite deposits by sucking it out of the skin through small incisions. By massaging the affected are with rollers, the accumulated fats are broken up until all the toxins and any water are sucked out. However, this cellulite treatment is expensive and not a something every woman wants to experience.

However, cellulite is not an illness or a disease but it highlights a generally unhealthy lifestyle. Finding the cause of cellulite in each person is the first step to treating the cellulite and then hopefully as a method of losing cellulite completely.
