Home Remedies For Cellulite
Cellulite is a term used to describe the chain of wrinkled fat cells and subcutaneous connective tissue beneath the skin and which seems to be more prevalent in women and accumulates more in the lower half of the body. Cellulite is not a condition confined to those people who carry excess weight but can be seen quite often on even sporting women who do not carry to much extra weight.
A number of fats collect in the lower areas of skin and push against the connective tissue forcing the skin to pucker or have a dimpled look which is called cellulite. In reality, nobody knows the real reason why some people accumulate cellulite and not others, but there are some factors that health experts are considering such as the structure of the fat cells or toxins that enter the body.
What is certain though is that the older you become the greater the likelihood of cellulites forming as the elastin and collagen, that also stops wrinkles, becomes less effective. Cellulites is classified as a problem caused by hormones and is why men rarely suffer with the condition as fat in their body is consistent throughout.

Even women who do not appear to have cellulites may have them and sometimes this is visible when the skin is compressed as in the case of squatting or when it is pinched between the thumb and forefinger; however as most women suffer with at some stage it seems to be a perfectly normal condition. Just how much cellulite a person has will depend on a number of factors like, age, gender, genetics and even the thickness and type of skin they have will affect how easily it can be seen.
As the reasons for cellulites formation is still a mystery, no complete treatment has been devised to rid the condition from people who suffer with is badly even though there are many cellulite creams that claim to rid someone of it. Massage has been found to help hide the indications of cellulite even though it cannot remove it; but is does reduce it?s visibility for a temporary period and is available from some beauty clinics.
Other treatments involve liposuction (to remove fats) and mesotheraphy (injection of drugs into cellulite) which is expensive and out of reach of the majority of women. These known remedies offer only temporary relief and are likewise not advisable as liposuction for example should only be used to remove deep fats and is not very effective in the removal of cellulite.
For people who are prone to cellulite, there are no magic cellulites treatments for selective cellulite removal but there are now a number of creams on the market which are designed to help hide the effect cellulite brings. Many people believe that the only realistic way to reduce the amount of cellulite a person has is to follow a controlled diet plan and exercise regularly which will gradually burn off much of the body fat including that found in the tissues of the thighs and buttocks.
Water too is useful as it has the effect of flushing out toxins that accumulate and are though to be partly responsible in addition to smokers to quit or reduce their smoking which is an effective way for toxins to enter the body.
