Cellulite Exercise

Cellulite is a term used to describe the chain of wrinkled fat cells and subcutaneous connective tissue beneath the skin and which seems to be more prevalent in women and accumulates more in the lower half of the body. Although additional fat is normal in women, this is not just a condition that is exclusive to overweight women and the cottage cheese look can affect slim women as well.

A number of fats collect in the lower areas of skin and push against the connective tissue forcing the skin to pucker or have a dimpled look which is called cellulite. In reality, nobody knows the real reason why some people accumulate cellulite and not others, but there are some factors that health experts are considering such as the structure of the fat cells or toxins that enter the body.

One thing is certain tough and that is as a persons age increases, the amount of cellulite increases also in the same way that wrinkles also form which is probably due to the reduction of the two components that keep the skin looking young; collagen and elastin. Cellulites is classified as a problem caused by hormones and is why men rarely suffer with the condition as fat in their body is consistent throughout.

Cellulite Exercise...

Even women who do not appear to have cellulites may have them and sometimes this is visible when the skin is compressed as in the case of squatting or when it is pinched between the thumb and forefinger; however as most women suffer with at some stage it seems to be a perfectly normal condition. Although it is not know what causes cellulites, some factors seem to contribute to its build up including age, sex, extra fat carried and skin thickness all seem to aid the formation.

Despite research, science has no answers the definitive cause of cellulites which means that any manufacturer can make claims bout how to rid people of the condition including cellulite creams that make it disappear. Massage has been found to help hide the indications of cellulite even though it cannot remove it; but is does reduce it?s visibility for a temporary period and is available from some beauty clinics.

Perhaps the most drastic is liposuction where fat is literally sucked from the body or the more expensive procedure of injecting certain chemicals in a process called mesotherapy. Liposuction is rarely that effective with surface based fat like cellulite and is more proficient at removing deeper fats from the body which are not trapped in the cells but none of these treatments offer anything but short term relief only.

There isn?t one single therapy or treatment that can rid someone of cellulite and even cellulite burning creams provide dubious results; however the most recent creams seem to just hide the effects of cellulite for a temporary period. Many people believe that the only realistic way to reduce the amount of cellulite a person has is to follow a controlled diet plan and exercise regularly which will gradually burn off much of the body fat including that found in the tissues of the thighs and buttocks.

If this is also followed by the adoption of drinking plenty of fresh water every day; unwanted toxins which can help in the formation of cellulite in the tissue are gradually removed.
