Cellulite Remedies
Cellulites are normally but not exclusively found on women and are tissues containing fat usually around the thighs, stomach and buttocks. Men can have cellulites too although they are usually whiter or several shades lighter than their normal skin color. A person with good circulation will have an even and smooth layer of skin but in a person with cellulites, fats become stored, along with other toxin, under the skin when under normal circumstances they would be flushed out. These tissues harden and thicken, producing cellulites, bumpy lines in the skin often referred to as the ‘orange peel’ effect.
The appearance of the cellulites will depend upon each person’s genetics, their lifestyle and the weight of the individual, all of which are factors in cellulite formation. Having said that even active women can get cellulite and it can be found even in the muscles of fit individuals, including dancers and athletes because there are different types of cellulites so being overweight is only one reason for having the problem. It’s the hard or solid cellulites that cause problems and are hard to remove as they are attached directly to the muscles. The easier cellulites to see are the soft type and whilst they are more unsightly as they may appear to hang from the skin and affect larger muscle areas, they are considerably easier to remove.
For women, who are he most likely candidates for cellulites, their appearance can start from as early as 14 years of age and will gradually get worse as they age The contraceptive pill has been linked with acquiring cellulites, as has giving birth and suffering from an injury.

Improving the circulation with exercise, combined with a healthy diet, will improve the appearance of cellulites and is still thought to be the best way to improve your cellulites condition. Whilst exercise is good, it works better when working in conjunction with a detoxifying diet which should include plenty of fruits and vegetables. Coffee and soft drinks should be avoided where possible but wholegrain foods are definitely recommended.
Some people believe that eating spicy foods contributes to the cellulites formation but no specific proof that this is the case has so far been brought to light. The build up of toxins in the body can also be avoided by not drinking alcohol or smoking. Although cellulites are not necessarily formed by a high fat diet fat is difficult to flush out of the system and can contribute to the cellulites formation so a low-fat diet is preferable.
Although they cannot completely get rid of cellulites, cellulite creams are quite successful in treating and hiding cellulite. The creams that contain alpha-hydroxyl acid improve the elasticity of the skin making the cellulites less obvious but do not actually remove the cellulites. Water therapy is also proving to be effective because it seems to make cellulites become less visible as it removes toxins in the body as well as fat and also aids in proper digestion and blood circulation.
