Anti Cellulite Treatment
Although not the problem it once was, Cellulites still causes distress to many women who have additional fat in the tissues of their thighs, buttocks and stomach. However, men can suffer with cellulites as well and are often seen as patches lighter then the surrounding skin. When there is fluid in the layers of skin, it becomes a problem because stored fats and other toxins become trapped and do not get flushed out unlike a person with good circulation who will have smooth skin. These tissues harden and thicken, producing cellulites, bumpy lines in the skin often referred to as the ?orange peel? effect.
The appearance of the cellulites will depend upon each person?s genetics, their lifestyle and the weight of the individual, all of which are factors in cellulite formation. Strangely there are different types of cellulites and being overweight is only one of the causes of cellulite as active and fit women can also suffer and it is found in the muscles of active women such as dancers and athletes. It?s the hard or solid cellulites that cause problems and are hard to remove as they are attached directly to the muscles. The easier cellulites to see are the soft type and whilst they are more unsightly as they may appear to hang from the skin and affect larger muscle areas, they are considerably easier to remove.
It is women who suffer the most from cellulite and this can start anytime after their 14th birthday and will usually get worse with age. Cellulites have been linked to the contraceptive pill or when a woman has given birth and sometimes it may even be triggered by an accident or injury.

Improving the circulation with exercise, combined with a healthy diet, will improve the appearance of cellulites and is still thought to be the best way to improve your cellulites condition. Whilst exercise is good, it works better when working in conjunction with a detoxifying diet which should include plenty of fruits and vegetables. Whole grain foods are also greatly recommended but foods that should be avoided include regular favorites such as coffee and soft drinks.
It is believed by some that spicy foods may contribute much in the appearance of cellulites but so far this appears to be untested and so not proved. However, the same cannot be said for smoking and alcohol which should be avoided as both help in the build-up of toxins in the body. Whilst a low fat diet is always preferably for health, reducing the intake of fatty foods helps reduce the enlargement of the cellulites because fat is harder to digest and more difficult to remove from your body.
Although they cannot completely get rid of cellulites, cellulite creams are quite successful in treating and hiding cellulite. By using alpha-hydroxyl acid cream, the cellulites are made to look as if they have disappeared by making the skin more elastic whereas all the cream has done is mask the cellulites. Removing toxins and fat from the body by using water therapy which also helps with digestion and circulation, has the added benefit of aiding in the removal of cellulites.
